Fairfield Library Program Celebrates Remarkable Connecticut Women

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Public Library is celebrating 300 years of Connecticut's remarkable women during March, which is Women's History Month.

The Fairfield Public Library is hosting an interactive multi-media program fashioned by the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame on Monday, March 9, at 7 p.m. The program will be held in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

There are many well-known Connecticut women and lesser known heroines, including Katharine Hepburn, Mabel Osgood Wright, Ella Grasso, Annie Leibovitz and many more. This presentation will introduce you to the Hall and give you a panoramic view of some of its 106 inductees from across all fields of endeavor, from politics and sports to the arts and sciences. 

Advanced registration is required due to the limited space. All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.
