FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Museum and History Center will host its final walking tour of the summer from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, starting at the museum, 370 Beach Road.
The guided tour around the historic Town Green and Museum Commons will showcase the people, places and events that shaped Fairfield’s 375 years of history.
Walkers will explore the site of the 1639 Colonial settlement, while learning more about Roger Ludlow, Fairfield’s Puritan roots, the 17th century “witch ducking experiments” and other historic events.
The tour is limited to 30 people.
The cost is $5 for museum members and $8 for non-members. The fee includes admission to the museum.
