FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Several Fairfield eateries made Connecticut Magazine’s annual list of the best restaurants in the state.
The magazine asked a panel of experts to rank their favorites in 25 categories, and placed the Top Five on their “Best of” list in each category. Nine spots in Fairfield took honors this year.
Two Fairfield restaurants made the Top Five in “Best Italian:” Liana’s Trattoria on Tunxis Hill Road and Paci in Southport. Liana’s also received an honorable mention for “Best Desserts.”
Other Fairfield winners include Shiki Hana Japanese Bistro for “Best Asian,” both Barcelona and Molto for “Best Appetizers” and Southport’s Artisan for “Best Hotel Dining.” Three others earned honorable mentions: The Chelsea for “Best New Restaurant,” Bodega Taco Bar for “Best Value” and The Stand for “Best Vegetarian/Vegan.”
