Fairfield Wellness Talk To Take On Seasonal Affective Disorder

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and Norma Pfriem Breast Center invite the public to an Evening of Wellness Lecture on "Seasonal Affective Disorder."

The event will be on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at the Pfriem Center, 2nd floor, in Fairfield, from 6 to 7 p.m. It is free and open to all.

"We are proud to be partnering with Norma Pfriem Breast Center to help people live the healthiest lifestyle possible at any age or stage of life," said Beverly A. Balaz, president of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. "We are proud to provide current and up-to-date information on high-interest health topics for the community.”

The featured speaker will be Dr. Andrew Anson, a board-certified psychiatrist. He has extensive private practice experience providing psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. Anson did his psychiatry training at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in Manhattan, where he was the chief resident. He is also qualified in providing psycho-education counseling.

During his lecture, Anson will Identify the symptoms, describe the causes and explain the solutions to Seasonal Affective Disorder.

This lecture will be the third in the 2015-16 Evenings of Wellness Lecture Series hosted by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and Norma Pfriem Breast Center.
