Harry Belafonte Stars At Changemaker Gala At Greenwich Film Festival

GREENWICH, Conn. -- As part of its inaugural festivities, the Greenwich International Film Festival held its Changemaker Honoree Gala on Saturday evening at l'escale Restaurant & Bar, honoring longtime UNICEF goodwill ambassadors Harry Belafonte and Mia Farrow.

The attendees recognized their work to use film and advocacy to create positive social change.

Attendees included UNICEF goodwill ambassadors Harry Belafonte, GIFF board member Jenna Bush Hager, and GIFF founders Carina Crain, Colleen deVeer, and Wendy Stapleton Reyes, as well as COO Ginger Stickel.

Former talk show co-hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Regis Philbin served as masters of ceremonies, and the musical guest was Connell Cruise.

Other celebrities to join in the fun included Kathie Lee's husband, Frank; Regis's wife, Joy; and Hota Kotb, Kathie Lee's current co-host on "Today." The Giffords arrived in style -- by boat. 

Weston Police Commissioner Jess DiPasquale and Joe Lipton, of Weston were also part of the crowd (see photo No. 10 above). 

Other attendees included Nadya Tolokonnikova and Masha Alekhina of Pussy Riot as well as Kelly Rohrbach, Alan Houston, and many more.

Honoree Mia Farrow was unable to attend the event due to a medical issue, organizers said.
