FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Registered dietitian for ShopRite stores Jenna Hourani will lead a presentation on healthy grocery shopping at the Fairfield Woods Branch Libary in Fairfield on Sunday, Feb. 21.
Hourani's program is part of the library's Shopping for Maximum Health and Wellness Series. Learn more about label reading, navigating the aisles, choosing healthier pre-made foods, and more. Hourani will also hand out coupons and recipes so that you can put your knowledge to good use the next time you shop.
Hourani is a registered dietitian at ShopRite stores in Fairfield, Derby and Shelton. She provides free services to customers and employees, including individual and family nutrition consultations, weight management classes, grocery store tours, and recipe demos and makeovers.
She studied Dietetics at the University of Delaware and completed her internship at the University of Connecticut.
