FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Bigelow Center for Senior Activities announced the creation of a new organization, Friends of the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities Inc.
The 501(c) (3) nonprofit, tax-exempt entity has a mission to raise and administer funds to enhance programs, services, and facilities of the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities in Fairfield.
The group will also provide support and advocacy for the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities on a broad basis in the community. The officers on the board of Friends are: Marjorie Morresi, President, Richard DeAngelis, Vice President/Secretary, and Curtis Bentley, Treasurer. The directors are Eric Johnson, Sandra-Ann Nolfo, Rosemary Rembetsy, Peggy Chandler, Helaine Davis, Nancy Legare, Terry Murphy, Cathy Rotanz, Margo Schiff, Palma Senatore and Carol Way.
The Friends will launch their first Be A Friend Campaign on Feb. 14 to raise money for programs at the Bigelow Center.
