Nutritionist Offers Tips At Fairfield's Pequot Library

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield's Pequot Library continues its Health and Wellness programming with a Wellness Wednesday seminar on Feb. 17, featuring nutritionist Donna Brown, M.S.

Brown leads her seminar, "What a Nutritionist Wishes You Knew," where she will share her tips on how to use kitchen nutrition and other lifestyle choices to successfully lose weight, sleep better, beat stress and support the body's brain, bones, liver, gut and kidneys.

She will show you how easy it is to ditch some of the bad habits and adopt healthier ones that will help you to look and feel better in 2016. The program is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Click here to register.

Brown is a clinical nutritionist and principal of the Nutrition Kitchen LLC, her private practice, which is dedicated to optimizing the health, lifespan and performance of her clients.

She has been sharing her nutrition and lifestyle knowledge for more than a decade in private, and through her educational outreach, research, and writing and presentation work with medical doctors.

Brown also runs group weight management, cleanse/detox, and Bone Up! programs throughout the year.

She received her B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Wheaton College, an M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Connecticut.

The presentation will be from noon to 1:15 p.m.
