FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Pequot Library in Fairfield and Music for Youth are inviting young singers, instrumentalists, ensembles, writers, and dancers to take the stage during the Friday Night Young Artists' Café, starting on Friday, Aug. 19 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Participating in the Friday Night Young Artists' Café at the Pequot Library can help locals practice, perform, build a creative network, and spend time with other young artists. The library encourages those with talents to take them to this monthly café and perform on stage. There is a $5 cover charge at the door which includes food and drink.
“The purpose of this program is to give young artists an opportunity to prepare their repertoire and perform for the public,” said Music for Youth Executive Program Director Misty Beyer.
Soloists, ensembles, writers, and dancers can contact Beyer at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call her at (203) 254-0123 for further information.
Three additional Friday Night Young Artists' Café dates are Sept. 23; Oct. 21; Nov. 11. Visit this link to learn more about the Pequot Library.
