Room 112, which opened last year for just Wednesday through Saturday nights, has expanded its hours to create a daytime coffee shop.
The eatery at 112 Washington Street, will now be open as a coffee lounge from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and 9 a.m. to close Wednesdays through Saturdays.
The menu will include traditional espresso, cappuccino, macchiato and caffe latte drinks, as well as Sorrento caramel macchiato, caffe mocha, chia latte, caffe Venizia and assorted loose-leaf teas.
After 5 p.m., java lovers can jazz things up with boozy coffee drinks.
A sampling of tasty treats includes cupcakes, muffins, pastries, cookies and breads from Stamford-based Something Sweet to Eat.
The new shop, which officially opened last week, features complimentary Wi-Fi, an assortment of newspapers, music, a pool table, darts and more.
New bar hours are Mondays and Tuesdays, 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesdays through Saturdays, 5 p.m. to close.
Wednesday features live jazz with Albert Rivera and a DJ entertains on Fridays and Saturdays.
