Stamford Ranks High Among Young Professionals

STAMFORD, Conn. -- For millennials, Stamford is about location, location, location.

Niche.com ranked the city 38th on its list of best U.S. cities for millennials to live in based on the number of millennials, job opportunities, access to bars and restaurants and affordable housing.

Stamford's location to restaurants received a grade of "A."

Stamford's location to coffee shops received a grade of "A."

Stamford's location visa vie providing the easiest commute received a grade of "A+."

The city did not fare as well in terms of unemployment rate (7.2 percent) and crime and safety (C+).

Cambridge. Mass. topped the list, followed by Manhattan, Alexandria, Va., San Francisco and Jersey City rounding out the top five.
