Where once folks cringed at the thought of raw fish, now they crave it with Fairfield County diners putting spicy salmon rolls and yellowtail scallion high on their list of “must haves.”

We asked – and you answered – giving us five of your favorite sushi restaurants. Grab your chopsticks and read below; each eatery has been profiled this week with the winner announced at the end of the month.

Soosh, 2701 Summer St., Stamford, (203) 658-7505

What Makes It Good: The sushi is fresh. The fish doesn't stick around long before it's served.

Diners Like: Tuna Pizza. "Delicately sliced tuna on a crispy dough with cilantro, cherry tomato, and onion," said one diner on Yelp. "I can't say enough about how awesome this meal was."

Worth Special Mention: The restaurant is Pareve kosher.
