STRATFORD, Conn. — The Town of Stratford’s Economic Development office and the Chamber of Commerce invite you to “Celebrate Downtown” as part of the Chamber’s First Thursday event.

On Dec. 7, several shops and businesses will welcome shoppers from 5 to 7 p.m. to enjoy all that downtown has to offer.

While it’s not downtown per se, Mellow Monkey on Sniffens Lane will get in on the action by offering 20 percent off on one item to anyone who brings a Dec. 7 receipt from a participating downtown shop.

So where should you head? Stationhouse Wine bar and Grill, Ole Dog Tavern, Good Bassett’s Ice Cream and Turning Pointe Dance Academy are just some of the participants. Click here for a full list.
