Bridgeport Bluefish Opening Weekend
Where: Ballpark at Harbor Yard, 500 Main St., Bridgeport.

The Bridgeport Bluefish begin their 20th season this weekend with a three-game set against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. A fireworks show will be held following Saturday's game. The annual Kids Run the Ballpark event will be held on Sunday.
Battle of Ridgefield Re-Enactment
When: Activities all weekend; Reenactment will take place Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Where: Main St., Ridgefield.

The area’s hottest musical competition known as BandJam 2017 will bring eight high-octane bands to compete at The Ridgefield Playhouse. A panel of celebrity judges will select this year's champions.
