The stereotype that when men remarry, they marry a woman younger than their first wife, is true, according to pewresearch.org.

Nearly three times as many adults have remarried since 1960, a whopping 42 million, reported pewresearch.org.

According to the study, at least 20 percent of men who are remarrying have chosen a wife who is at least 10 years younger than they are, while only 5 percent women remarrying choose a husband who is 10 or more years younger than they are, reported pewresearch.org.
