FAIRFIELD, Conn. Anne T. Lanzo of Fairfield died with family by her side on May 14, the second anniversary of her husband Frank's death. She was 86.
Born April 21, 1926, in Yonkers, she was the daughter of Michael and Josephine Trotta. She graduated from City College and worked at Vogue in New York City in promotional advertising. After raising her children, Lanzo became a Realtor, working initially at Fairfield County Real Estate before joining Coldwell Banker.
An artist, Lonzo was a lifetime member of the Arts Student League in New York and the Fairfield County Board of Realtors. She also belonged to the Fayerweather Yacht Club. She was a former member of Mill River Country Club and the Fairfield Golf Commission. She loved the beach, sailing, golf, traveling and fine wine.
Lanzo is survived by two daughters, Anne Costello, of East Falmouth, Mass., and Janmarie (Robert) Lanzo-Bovino, of Fairfield; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank Trotta; and a sister, Margie Raso.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home in Fairfield Center.
