Former Fairfield Resident Takes Reins As Serendipity Executive Editor

STAMFORD, Conn. – Serendipity magazine has appointed Amy Levin-Epstein executive editor.

“I am ecstatic for Amy to join the team of talent that assembles Serendipity, and work closely with our VP, Creative Director Lisa Kennedy to produce this entertaining, insightful magazine every month,” said Suni Unger, founder and chief executive officer of Stamford-based Serendipity magazine and its parent company, Unger Publishing.

“Having grown up in Fairfield and now residing in Cos Cob, Amy will not only be applying her vast experience in the publishing industry to this role, but also her time spent living in our amazing community," Unger added. 

"After spending a number of years working and living in New York City, I’m excited to be back in Connecticut to work on this publication,” said Levin-Epstein.

“In addition to maintaining the high quality editorial content of the magazine, I’m looking forward to continuing the team’s work to further develop our digital presence,” she added.

Levin-Epstein has more than 12 years of experience in the publishing industry, holding various editorial roles at media outlets including The Knot Magazine and TheKnot.com, The New York Post’s Page Six, Men’s Health Best Life Magazine and CBS News’ Moneywatch.com.

As a freelance writer, she has contributed to publications such as Cosmopolitan, Fitness, Food Network, Glamour, Ladies’ Home Journal, Men’s Health, Pregnancy, Prevention, Redbook, Self, Town and Country and more.

She is a graduate of Oberlin College in Ohio, and holds her master's degree in sociology from the University of Sydney.
