With the help of volunteers from his troop, family and friends, Jonathan lead the design, construction, painting and installation of 30 wooden risers for Operation Hope’s food pantry.

The risers help to keep donated food off the floor as required by health regulations. Before the risers were installed, the pantry used empty crates to accomplish this requirement. These crates will now be used by the pantry for more donated food.

By addressing basic needs for food and shelter, as well as offering long-term solutions to hunger and homelessness, including affordable housing, life skills training and personalized clinical support, Operation Hope helps people reach their potential in a compassionate environment with dignity and hope.
