Fairfield Emerging Leader Group Plans Networking Event

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will hold the next meeting of its young persons' group, the Fairfield Emerging Leader Organization, on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

FELO is hosting an evening of networking at Taberna Restaurant. The event costs $10 for FELO members, $25 for nonmembers. The price includes appetizers and one drink.

FELO is a professional group within the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. It's an organization for emerging leaders, from entry- to management-level in their current company.

The group's mission is to provide a platform for young professionals to engage in business-sponsored activities and connect with individuals, to enhance professional skills, while promoting social and civic opportunities.

FELO contributes a portion of the proceeds raised for scholarships; FELO chooses a local high school senior majoring in business. Its community and civic activities focus on making the local community a better place to live, work and play.

The annual membership fee is $50. Membership benefits include

  • discounted ticket price to attend networking events
  • an exclusive complimentary FELO event
  • a portion of your fees benefit local high school student scholarships
  • qualifying for member spotlights on social media

The FELO event will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
