The market will take place at Town Hall Green, 611 Old Post Road, Fairfield, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and the dog parade steps off at 11 a.m.

The entry fee for the dog parade is $5. Click here to register for the dog parade.

Doggy bandanas will be given to the first 50 dogs registered and free treats upon dog parade check-in.

The Market on the Green will include about 50 exhibitors and eight food trucks at the Town Hall Green.

Vendors will be on hand selling home decor, artwork, crafts, repurposed furniture, pet products, beauty products, jewelry, and women's, men's and kids' apparel, and other items created by local artists, chefs, designers and merchants.

Admission is free for this event, which will be held rain or shine.

In addition to the Market on the Green, Halloween on the Green, formerly Trick or Treat on Safety Street, will include a costume parade at 2 p.m., hayrides, entertainment, crafts, games and more.

Guests can trick-or-treat in an enchanted and not-too-spooky environment at Halloween on the Green.

The historic Town Green and Fairfield Museum Commons will be transformed into a Halloween village full of places to visit and things to see and do.

Displays will be set up in the Victorian Cottage, Sun Tavern and Old Academy Schoolhouse.
