Fairfield Lawmakers Come To First Family Fun Fest

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Many local lawmakers came out to the First Family Fun Fest on Saturday, July 5, and celebrated the town’s 375th anniversary.

The event included live music and entertainment, an artisan fair, children’s games, food trucks and more. Highlights were a Revolutionary War encampment and re-enactment, a beer garden based on the historic Sun Tavern and free tours of the Fairfield Museum’s exhibition “Creating Community: Exploring 375 Years of Our Past.”

The festival was made possible through collaboration of the Fairfield Museum and History Center, the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and the Fairfield Theatre Company.
