Assistance is needed at both the main and branch facilities.

Teen volunteers will  help children sign up for the library’s summer reading challenge, hand out prizes and help at special events.

Volunteers will be requested to commit a minimum of two hours per week between June 20 and Aug. 20.

Each volunteer will choose their own schedule from available hours each week, Monday through Friday, between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Those interested must complete an application and, if selected, attend a mandatory one-hour training session in June.

Students entering grade eight and up in September may apply online by clicking here.

For questions, contact Judy Sparzo, branch children’s librarian, by phone at 203-255-7327 or by email at jsparzo@fplct.org.
