The show, called "After Drop Off," launched Oct. 9 and is a collection of interviews and spin-offs featuring local businesses in the Bridgeport/Southport area.
In each episode -- which runs just under 15 minutes -- Evans talks to local business owners that primarily work in food, fashion or entertainment. Spin-offs include "HomeScape," "Beauty Call," "Tech, Travel and Treats," "Food, Fashion and Fun," "Ambush Makeover," and "Mometize."
The goal of each show -- already in 10 million homes -- is to support local businesses and engage the community.
Most of the filming is done in Fairfield County. Evans, after all, lives in Fairfield. Viewers are encouraged to watch the shows on ROKU, Amazon Fire, Opera TV and, launching soon, Apple TV.
Among the mom of two's favorite spots: "Mometize" where she spotlights local and national moms bringing their "A game" to business and life. She recently interviewed Dolores Catania, of The Real Housewives of New Jersey fame, inside Terrain Garden Cafe in Westport.
"My objective is for everyone to know they have a seat at the table so we all can grow and build our networks together," said Evans.
"Like they say 'a rising tide lifts all boats.'
Evans is already known locally for running (and starting) service-oriented Facebook pages such as University Sitters in Fairfield County, Fairfield County Friends & Family, Westport & Fairfield Parents, Trumbull & Shelton Parents, Greenwich & Stamford Parents, Darien & New Canaan Parents, Move It, Move It, Fairfield County, The Daily PaRant and Party Spaces.
