"2013 has been a year of record accomplishments for the Fairfield Museum, with more visitors and students attending our programs and events than ever before," a press release said. "Our success has been made possible only through the generous support of friends and supporters like you. And as we prepare for a banner 2014, we need your continued support."

Representatives are looking for support through the Fairfield Museum's Annual Fund. Donations will help provide school programs for more than 5,200 students from Fairfield and surrounding communities, supporting the library used by more than 1,000 students each year and new exhibitions enjoyed by more than 15,000 visitors every year, according to the release.

To learn more about the programs, residents are asked to visit the Fairfield Museum and History Center
