Art Fans Invited To Enjoy 'Impressions Of Weir Farm' At Wilton Exhibit

WILTON, Conn. — An opening reception will be held Friday to celebrate an exhibit called "Art In the Park: Impressions of Weir Farm" that features the entries in an art festival held at Weir Farm National Historic Site.

The exhibit and reception will be held at G&B Cultural Center, 49 New St., Wilton, on Friday Sept. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The event will be supported by the park partners, The Weir Farm Art Center and The Friends of Weir Farm National Historic Site.

"The Art in the Park: Impressions of Weir Farm" exhibit is on view at the G&B Cultural Center now through Sept. 29. It  features artwork submitted and displayed during the first-ever Art in the Park Festival, which took place Aug. 25. 

The event brought in hundreds of visitors and artists from near and far. A total of 88 works were submitted to the art contest in various categories — from Junior Artist to Professional Artist.

The public is invited to join in the celebration of Art in the Park and the contributions of each artist who participated. Come enjoy refreshments, friends, and the stunning artwork inspired by Weir Farm.
