FAIRFIELD, Conn. Gertrude Walsh Hennessy of Fairfield died April 17 at Connecticut Health of Southport. She was 99.
Hennessy was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was a Fairfield resident for many years. She was married to the late Frank Hennessy.
She is survived by two daughters, Gloria (Thomas) Grogan, of Fairfield and Arlene Ryan of Florida and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Donald and Francis Hennessy.
Funeral services are private. Larson Funeral Home in Bridgeport is in charge of arrangements.
