Giddy-Up: Cycle On Over To The Fairfield Police Bike Rodeo

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Bicycling buckaroos are invited to join the fun at the Fairfield Police Department’s annual Youth Bicycle Rodeo.

Planned for 9 a.m to noon, Saturday, May 13, at Jennings Beach, the free event includes safety information and bike inspections, riding stations, a family ride and a bicycle raffle from Zane’s.

Children, ages 5 to 12, should bring their bikes and helmet to participate.

A helmet giveaway will take place on a limited basis for those who need them. Children must be present to receive a helmet, as professionals will be on hand to make sure the helmet is fitted properly.
