Holiday Book Sale Coming Up For Friends Of The Fairfield Public Library

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Friends of the Fairfield Public Library will have its annual holiday book sale from Dec. 1 to Dec. 11 at the main library.

For National Friends of Libraries Week in October, Fairfield First Selectman Mike Tetreau honors the Friends of the Fairfield Public Library. The group will be hosting its annual holiday book sale from Dec. 1 to Dec. 11.

A large selection of items will be available, from vintage and signed books to CDs and DVDs.

The proceeds from the sale will go toward various library programs, such as One Book One Town, the Kershner Art Gallery, Soundwaves music concerts, author luncheons and summer reading programs for children.

Donations for future sales can be dropped off at the main library's receiving room at any time. The main library is at 1080 Old Post Road, Fairfield.

The sale will take place at the main branch during all regular library hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays

The library is located at 1080 Old Post Road in Fairfield.
