Well, here’s your chance to find out.

The Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County (JLEFC) will host an open house for prospective members from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 11, at Barcelona Restaurant in Fairfield.

You’re invited to learn more about the 97-year-old organization, meet current members and find out how to join.

The JLEFC welcomes all women 21 or older who are interested in making a positive impact in the community. The not-for-profit organization is comprised of women from Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Newtown, Redding, Shelton, Southport, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston and Westport.

All of its educational and charitable projects and programs are supported by membership dues, grants and donations.
