All sale proceeds benefit the Pequot Library and help fund more than 750 annual cultural and literary programs for all ages.
The Book Sale will be held in Pequot Library’s Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and both parking and admission are free. In addition to books that warm the heart through the winter cold, come and browse 10,000-plus books, more than 1,000 record albums, CDs, DVDs and other media.
The categories for books are: fiction; classics; mystery; biography; history; cookbooks, including Americana regional cookbooks; comics 1970s -1990s; Connecticut/New England books and more.
The Pequot Library’s annual Mid-Winter Book Sale is the little sister of the library’s nationally known Summer Book Sale. While it is smaller, it's more intimate and has no shortage of treasures and bargains.
