Pequot Library In Southport Sells Hats For Derby Day Fundraiser

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Pequot Library in Southport is selling hats for its Derby Day Fundraiser.

The August Hat Company has donated 10 hats for the fundraiser, while supplies last. Donation: $50 per hat. Come try them on during normal library hours.

The Derby Day Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 7, from 4-7 p.m. at the Pequot Library. The event starts on the Great Lawn with Kentucky fare and an open bar, and then convenes in the auditorium to watch "The Greatest 2 Minutes in Sports" on the big screen.

Online ticket sales close Friday, May 6 at 5 p.m. Individual tickets may also be purchased at the door.

The Pequot Library is at 720 Pequot Ave., Southport.
