Sign Up To Tee Off In Pequot Library Golf Classic In Fairfield

SOUTHPORT, Conn. – Registration is now open for Pequot Library’s 11th Annual Golf Classic Fundraiser taking place from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 31 at the Country Club of Fairfield.

The Golf Classic will be at an exclusive links-style private course overlooking Long Island Sound. Opened in 1921, the course was designed by noted architect Seth Raynor and is characterized by spectacular views, often-brisk winds, fast, undulating greens and beautiful conditioning. The course is consistently ranked among the area’s very best.

The Golf Classic committee – Graham Michener, Sam Cargill, Caroline Calder and Scott Balkan – invite all golfers for a round of golf with friends while supporting the library.

The tournament schedule is:

9:30 a.m. – Registration, driving range open, buffet brunch

11:30 a.m. – Shotgun start

4:30 p.m. – Cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception and a silent auction featuring rounds of golf at exclusive courses
