Team Sotheby's included President and CEO Paul Bruenich, COO Vin Socci, Kimmelman and other other colleagues and friends. There were 24 riders on the team. Last year, Team Sotheby's raised approximately $7,000.

Proceeds support cancer survivorship programs sponsored by the CT Challenge. The Southport-based facility is the only free-standing building of its kind in the United States dedicated to programs and support for cancer survivors.

The ride raised more than $2 million, and 1,334 cyclists completed rides of 10 miles up to 100.

Donations are still being accepted. Readers can click here to support Team Sotheby's and click here to support Kimmelman.
