FAIRFIELD, Conn. – An estimated 70 percent of United Illuminating Company customers in Fairfield were still without power Wednesday morning.
Utility outage maps estimate 15,337 of the 21,876 customers served in Fairfield were without power as of 6 a.m. Wednesday. Officials have not given an expected restoration date.
More than 134,000 out of the 320,150 UIC customers in Connecticut were without power as of Wednesday morning, according to outage maps.
