Access Health CT Sets Up Enrollment Fairs In Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Special forums to help residents enroll in the state's healthcare exchange, Access Health CT, will be held in Fairfield County in the coming weeks.

Enrollment fairs for Access Health CT will be held in Norwalk and Danbury in the coming weeks.

Representatives from the Access Health CT will conduct these free workshops for residents to learn what the changes in health care mean for you and/or your business. The fair allows residents the opportunity to enroll in "quality health care coverage," according to a press release.

Here are upcoming dates in Fairfield County:

2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at the Danbury Library, 170 Main St. Click here to register.
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Norwalk Public Library, 1 Belden Ave. Click here to register.
2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at the Danbury Library, 170 Main St. Click here to register.
3:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at the Tully Health Center's Auditorium, 32 Strawberry Hill Court, Stamford. Click here to register.

"Everyone deserves quality health care coverage," said the press release. "Access Health CT, Connecticut’s official health insurance marketplace, will hold three free events this week to provide information about how Healthcare Reform will impact you and your family, explain how you might receive financial help and provide assistance in enrolling for healthcare coverage through Access Health CT."

Residents are invited to attend the enrollment fairs to "meet with an insurance broker or a certified assister who can help you enroll in the plan of your choice," according to the release.
