“During the last open enrollment, approximately 21 percent of Medicaid and 17 percent of qualified health plan enrollees signed up at our enrollment centers or with the help of an in-person assister,” AHCT Acting CEO Jim Wadleigh said in a statement.

“We know that many residents appreciate the opportunity to speak to someone face-to-face and receive help during the enrollment process. So this year we partnered with community organizations to offer in-person assistance at consistent times in locations where there are higher uninsured rates, so that we can connect with the people who are still in need of health care coverage.”
