STONINGTON, Conn. -- A baby girl delivered Tuesday by emergency cesarean section after her mom was killed in a car accident on Interstate 95 died Wednesday night in a Providence, R.I. hospital, according to a story in The Day.
Alexandra L. Brown, 26, of Niantic, was driving on I-95 south in Stonington when her car hit a metal guardrail and rolled over several times; she was ejected, according to The Day's story. After her daughter was delivered, the baby was rushed to Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, the story said.
Brown also leaves behind two children, 7-year-old Jayden and 4-year-old Zariah, the story said.
