Norwalk resident Andy Ross has gotten his wish: "American Housewife" will no longer be dissing his hometown. Producers of the ABC sitcom said: “We’ve heard the concerns of the people of Norwalk and have made the decision to omit any mentions of the city from future episodes.” Ross had started a petition to ask the producers to stop insulting his hometown.
