Evening Owl Walk To Tour Trout Brook

EASTON, Conn. – Now that spring is in full swing, why not take advantage of the warm weather and spend an evening with Easton’s native owls? You can do this during a free spring hike offered by the Aspetuck Land Trust.

An Owl Inventory Walk will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. March 31 at the Trout Brook Valley Orchard. Hikers will walk with Milan Bull, a bird expert and senior director of science and conservation with the Connecticut Audubon Society, and learn about the behaviors and habitats of owls in Easton.

To attend the program, contact Aspetuck Land Trust Director David Brant at dbrant@aspetucklandtrust.org. Hikers will meet at the preserve entrance on Freeborn Road, right off Route 58, just past the Old Blue Bird Inn.
