FAIRFIELD, Conn. A Fairfield man was charged with letting the air out of his soon-to-be-ex-wifes tires last month. Brian Feeney, 48, of Arbor Drive was arrested by Fairfield Police Monday.
Feeney's wife reported the incident on April 12 at about 8 p.m. She told police that while she was in the Sportsplex on Mill Plain Road, the valve stems and inflators were removed from her cars tires. She also told police she saw Feeney bent down near the passenger side of the car, according to police reports.
During an interview later, Feeney admitted that he aired out the tires, police say. A warrant for his arrest was filed and served Monday. Feeney was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is due in court Tuesday.
