FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Jewish Home for the Elderly of Fairfield County Inc. of Fairfield was one of four Connecticut nursing homes that has been fined by the state for improper treatment of a patient, according to the NewsTimes.com.
The Fairfield nursing home was fined $1,020 and cited for a June 10 incident in which a resident with dementia fell out of a wheelchair and suffered a facial cut and hip and back pain, the story said.
