Any member of the public, including town and school employees, are encouraged to submit nominations by noon Nov. 6.

“These awards have become a popular and rewarding tradition in Fairfield. They give our community an opportunity to highlight the many wonderful and devoted residents and employees who serve as the backbone to our great town. I encourage individuals to nominate people in our community who you believe are deserving of these special awards,” Tetreau said.

Nomination criteria, lists of previous winners and nomination forms can be found at www.fairfieldct.org/bosawards or by calling Tetreau's office at 203-256-3030.

An independent committee will review the nominations and recommend three finalists for each award to the Fairfield Board of Selectmen, which will select the two winners. The winners will be announced in December.
