Fairfield's Finance Board Again Postpones Vote On Penfield Pavilion Repairs

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Board of Finance once again voted on Tuesday, Dec. 2, to delay a decision on a proposal to repair the Penfield Pavilion that was damaged during Hurricane Sandy, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The 5-4 decision to table the vote until the Jan. 6 meeting should allow the Board of Selectmen to approve or deny a proposal for an additional locker wing on the pavilion. Doing so could result in greater funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Fairfield Citizen reported.
