A Few Fairfield Residents Lose Electricity

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — As the remnants of Friday's nor'easter blew through, some households in Fairfield lost electricity Saturday afternoon.

A total of 30 of its 23,750 customers in Fairfield were without power, United Illuminating reported Saturday.

The National Weather Service predicted that wind gusts as high as 37 mph would continue through the afternoon, calming down in the evening.
