“On Memorial Day, we especially pay tribute to the military personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their nation," said Malloy. "Their families and loved ones are in our hearts and prayers. We are forever grateful for the patriotism, bravery, and sense of duty exhibited by our service men and women, and we thank them for their contributions to this nation,” said Malloy.

Per tradition, the flags should return to full-staff at noon.
