Glenn Mishuck, 49, pleaded guilty to four counts of second-degree sexual assault. Under the plea bargain Mishuck faces a minimum 18 months in prison and no more than three-and-half years, the Fairfield Citizen reported.
Mishuck will be sentenced on Aug. 7, the Fairfield Citizen said.
Mishuck had been charged with 17 counts of second-degree sexual assault involving allegations of having sex with a 17-year-old student at Fairfield Ludlowe High School in 2013.
The judge in the case had refused to dismiss the charges last week, leading to the plea bargain. His lawyer had argued that Mishuck was not the girl's teacher at the time of the sexual relationship because it happened in the summer.
