Eric Von Kohorn, 55, of Harbor Road in the Southport section of Fairfield, was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography and promoting a minor in an obscene performance.

Superior Court Judge Robert Devlin continued the case to Dec. 2. Von Kohorn is free on $50,000 bond, according to the Connecticut Post.

State Police said that last April they found the IP address of Von Kohorn's laptop computer while investigating an Internet file-sharing network, and downloaded two video files from the IP address. Both files depicted sexual activity between young girls and adult males.

At the end of June, State Police said they seized Von Kohorn’s laptop computer from his bedroom and found 120 video flies on the hard drive depicting children between the ages of 2 and 14 engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Kohorn worked as an aide at the Miller Driscoll School in Wilton from 2007 to June 2014.
