  • A 27-year-old Fairfield woman was arrested in Westport and charged with drunken driving after crashed the vehicle.
  • An Easton man was charged with yelling racial slurs at woman in a Black Rock Turnpike parking in Fairfield.
  • Luis Alomar, 37, a fugitive suspected in a string of bank robberies along the Eastern Seaboard, including possibly in Westchester and Fairfield counties, was arrested in Medford, Long Island, N.Y.
  • A Bridgeport man was charged with stuffing his pants with merchandise in a shoplifting incident at a Walgreens in Fairfield.
