Bridgeport Hospital, Greenwich Hospital, and Nyack Hospital said as of Monday afternoon they reported receiving no injuries related to the solar eclipse.
People were warned to only look at the eclipse wearing special glasses or to make their own glasses out of a cereal box.
The eclipse was the first to sweep across the entire country since 1918. After Aug. 21, the next total solar eclipse is due for April 2024.
