FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Lena Mary Iovino Dellamarggio of Fairfield died Tuesday, Sept. 4, at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport with her family by her side. She was 87.
Born Nov. 4, 1924, in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of Vincent and Rose DeMasi Iovino. She was a Fairfield resident for 48 years.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Dellamarggio; two children, Linda (Paul) Roberts and Joseph (Anne) Dellamarggio; a brother, Noah (Sunny) Iovino; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Saturday at St. Andrew Church in Bridgeport. Burial will be private. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Parente-Lauro Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Connecticut Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
